About this place
A folk performing arts museum in Akita. You can try holding a full-size kanto pole used in the Kanto Festival. It displays materials on folk events in Akita, such as the float event (Tsuchizaki Shinmei Shrine Festival) and the Sankichi Bonten Festival (Taiheizan Sankichi Shrine), and regular performances are given by members of the Akita City Kanto Association.
