About this place

An aquarium in Oga. Standing where it overlooks the Sea of Japan, it has the "Oga Sea Large Tank." It exhibits about 10,000 specimens of about 400 species, with polar bears, penguins, sea lions and more, and shows sandfish, Akita's prefectural fish, all year round. The "Namahage Shuttle" and "Oga Peninsula Guruttto Bin" are convenient for access.
