A spring in Nikaho. Water issues from the whole face of a rock five metres high and thirty wide.
About this place
Underground-seepage water in the Yurihonjo and Chokai area of Akita. Water wells and flows down over rock about 5 m high and 30 m wide, the green of moss clinging to the slope contrasting with the white of the spray. In late May mountain azaleas bloom, and a guided tour together with the Shishigahana Wetland is offered.
