Overview
A shrine on the shore of Lake Tazawa, named for a stone the lord of the Akita domain sat on in 1650.
About this place
A shrine in Semboku, Akita. The shrine's name is said to come from the lord of the Akita domain, Yoshitaka Satake, who sat down to rest here while touring Lake Tazawa in 1650 (Keian 3). Near the vermilion torii are the "Nanairogi," a single tree from which seven kinds of trees grow, the "Spirit Spring of Katagashira," which Tatsuko drank and became a dragon, and the "Mirror Stone," in which Tatsuko saw her reflection.
