A park in Akita. It has 700 cherry trees, mainly Somei Yoshino, and you can enjoy seasonal flowers and colors: azaleas and wisteria in late May, kakitsubata irises, Japanese irises and iris in early summer, lotus in the moat in summer, and autumn leaves. In the park are the Satake Historical Museum, the tea room Sen'an, Onsumiyagura and the front gate, and nearby are the Prefectural Museum of Art and the city library "Meitokukan."
