About this place
A facility in the Masuda area of Yokote, Akita, introducing and guiding visitors to traditional buildings. It was developed when the former Ishihira Hardware Store, a hardware wholesaler, was donated to Yokote. The typical form of an old merchant house in the Masuda area remains, and you can tour features such as the inner storehouse built in the mid-Meiji period, and many local specialties are on sale.
