About this place
Shibamasa World is an amusement park in Mikuni, Sakai, Fukui Prefecture. It is a theme park run by Shibamasa Kanko Kaihatsu Co., Ltd.; Shibamasa Co., Ltd., which grows and sells lawn grass, was the parent body, but since 2011 it has moved to become a company of the L'Rose Group. The name seen in advertisements is "The Sea of Japan and Lawn: a 'Play Theme Park,' Six Kingdoms, Shibamasa World." It was once called Midori no Hiroba Shibamasa.
