About this place
A shrine in Keya, Fukui. It was founded as the guardian deity of the Kuzuryu River, for the peace of the land and the protection of all people. It was also a prayer site of the Echizen Matsudaira family, and is said to be one of the four great myojin of ancient Japan. It is popular as a power spot that wards off evil spirits.
