Overview
A gorge cut by the Kuzuryu River, seen from the train window.
About this place
A gorge in Ono, Fukui Prefecture, formed by the erosion of the Kuzuryu River. The section from the Katsuhara district to the Izumi district, across Butsuhara Dam, is called by this name. National Route 158 runs alongside, and you can enjoy richly varied scenery from the car window, which is especially breathtaking in the fresh green and autumn leaf seasons.
