About this place
A facility in Ono, Fukui Prefecture, where you can try excavating dinosaur teeth, ammonites, plants and shell fossils. The experience is by advance reservation, held twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon, for ages 4 and over. Fees are 700 yen for junior high school students and younger, 1,100 yen for high school students and 1,350 yen for general visitors; closed on Mondays (except holidays).
The experience is for ages 4 and over. Children in 3rd grade of elementary school and younger must be accompanied by a guardian.
The hammer, goggles and work gloves needed for the experience are provided by the center.
