About this place
Adventure Pool is a municipal pool facility in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka. Its official name is Kitakyushu City Shii Family Pool. It opened on July 5, 1986 (Showa 61) in Shii Park, near Kikugaoka Station, the terminus of the Kitakyushu Monorail Kokura Line, which opened on January 9, 1985 (Showa 60). On March 11, 1989 (Heisei 1), JR Kyushu opened Shii Koen Station just west of the site. It has shifted to private management under the designated manager system. The current manager is Okazaki Kenko Co., Ltd.
