About this place
Ukiha Inari Shrine is a shrine in Nagarekawa, Ukiha-cho, Ukiha, Fukuoka. The enshrined deities are Ukanomitama, Ohoyamakui and Sugawara no Michizane. It is located at the southern edge of the central urban area of Ukiha-cho, Ukiha. A flight of stairs continues from Prefectural Route 52 up to the shrine buildings, and 91 torii gates line both sides of the stairs. It was founded by transferring the deity from Fushimi Inari Taisha on December 6, 1957 (Showa 32), and was approved as a religious corporation the following year, 1958 (Showa 33).
