A hot spring area embraced by the Northern Alps, the roof of Japan, in Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. It consists of five hot spring towns, Hirayu, Fukuchi, Shin-Hirayu, Tochio and Shin-Hotaka, where unhurried time flows with the blessings of great nature.
