About this place

A mountain in Kawabe, Gifu Prefecture. It is popular as a hiking spot, and many historic sites remain around it. A mountain castle called Shimoaso Castle is said to have stood here, and from the castle on the cliff the area toward Shirakawa, Yaotsu and Kanayama was said to be visible in the distance.
