About this place
A park in Kusatsu, Gunma, at the westernmost end of Kusatsu Onsen. The area is a special zone of Joshin'etsu Kogen National Park, with a large open-air bath at the far end. Source water at 1,400 liters per minute wells up in many places on the wide riverbed, becoming streams of hot water that form waterfalls and ponds. A 15-minute walk from the Yubatake in the hot spring town; it is lit up from sunset until 22:00.
