Overview
A grand shrine in Kasama, said to have received its deity from Izumo Taisha in Shimane.
About this place
A shrine in Fukuhara, Kasama. A branch spirit was received from Izumo Taisha in Shimane Prefecture in 1992 (Heisei 4). The main deity is Okuninushi no Okami, familiar as the god of fortune "Daikoku-sama," and it is said to bring blessings such as matchmaking. On the grounds are a main hall built entirely of cypress in the taisha-zukuri style, a worship hall with a 6-ton great shimenawa rope, a glassblowing workshop, the dining hall Izumokan and a contemporary art gallery.
