Overview
Twenty-three metres high and sixteen wide — an unusual waterfall of hot-spring water, gathering the flows of Einoo and Iozan springs.
About this place
A waterfall 23 meters high and 16 meters wide in Makizono, Kirishima, Kagoshima Prefecture. Along National Route 223 from Maruo Onsen toward Kirishima Jingu, it is a hot water fall, flowing with collected hot spring water from nearby Sakanoo Onsen and Iodani Onsen. In winter, steam rises from the waterfall, and at night it is illuminated.
