About this place
Ichihino Onsen is a hot spring in Ichihino, Hiwaki-cho, Satsumasendai, Kagoshima Prefecture (formerly Ichihino Village, Hiwaki-go, Satsuma District). It has a history of prospering since the Edo period as a place of therapeutic bathing for the common people. It is said to be effective for chronic joint and muscle rheumatism, neuralgia and neuritis. Radon content 7.88. A hot spring area gushing in the countryside along the Ichihino River, with quite a large number of 10 sources. A few inns stand around it, but the inns are not very large and keep the traditional style of therapeutic bathing for nearby villages.
