About this place
Kiyoken Co., Ltd. is a company with its head office in Nishi Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, that mainly makes and sells shumai and Shumai Bento and runs restaurants. It was founded in 1908 (Meiji 41) as a kiosk inside the first Yokohama Station (now Sakuragicho Station), and incorporated as a joint-stock company in 1948. It is known for making and selling Yokohama's specialty shumai (Kiyoken writes its shumai as Shiumai) and the ekiben Shiumai Bento. It also runs restaurants such as Chinese and Italian restaurants.
