Overview
A prefectural park on Jogashima in Miura, with cliffs and sea caves.
About this place
A park spreading across the eastern half of Jogashima, at the tip of the Miura Peninsula. About 300,000 double-flowered daffodils bloom in various places in the park from mid-January to mid-February. From two observation decks in the park you can see as far as Mt. Fuji, and about 2,000 birds, including Japanese cormorants, come to the colony (a prefectural natural monument) to spend the winter from winter to spring. Awazaki Lighthouse stands on the lawn plaza.
