A swimming beach in Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, with shallow water and quiet waves, characterized by clear water and black sand containing iron sand. On clear days you can see as far as Hatsushima, Oshima and the Boso Peninsula, the water quality is ranked AA, and it is certified as a JLA-certified swimming beach by the Japan Lifesaving Association. The open period is July 11 to August 31, 2026, from 8:00 to 17:00.
