About this place
An experience of meeting about 200 wild Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in the waters around Nie, Itsuwa, Amakusa, Kumamoto Prefecture. It runs all year, with an encounter rate said to exceed 90%. You can observe schools of dolphins so close that they seem within reach, and the best season is spring to summer.
