About this place
A park in the Amakusa area where about 20,000 wild camellias grow. In season, the mountain slope is covered in red camellias. The banyan-like Akou tree in the park, about 20 m high, spreads countless roots over a huge rock called Kuraiwa, earning it the nickname Laputa of Amakusa, and it draws attention as a power spot.
