About this place
A museum in the Amakusa area of Kumamoto Prefecture. The Amakusa-Shimabara Rebellion arose around a 16-year-old boy, Amakusa Shiro, and the museum uses materials and video to convey the situation at the time under the influence of Nanban culture and the historical background of the uprising. It is a facility that conveys the true image of Amakusa Shiro and the feelings of the people to the present.
