About this place
A statue of Sanji, the cook, in Mashiki, Kumamoto Prefecture, installed in fiscal 2019 as part of the ONE PIECE Kumamoto Reconstruction Project. In Mashiki, whose school lunch center was damaged by two earthquakes of intensity 7, it is said to create the health and smiles of children through warm school lunches made with local farm products. Ten Straw Hat Pirates statues are installed in the prefecture.
