About this place
A facility in Gokasho, Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture, themed on the legend of Heike refugees. It has a museum displaying items associated with the Heike refugees and a Noh stage where you can watch traditional performing arts and Noh related to the Heike, introducing the history and way of life of the refugees. A thatched-roof dining area where you can taste wild vegetable dishes and hand-made soba is also attached.
