About this place
A gateway port for international cruise ships in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture. Developed jointly by the national government, Kumamoto Prefecture and Royal Caribbean, it can accommodate some of the largest cruise ships in the world. Around the terminal is Kumamon Park, a Kumamon-themed park where you can see statues such as a 6 m Big Kumamon and a chorus of 54 Kumamons.
