About this place
A public bath of Amanohashidate Onsen next to Amanohashidate Station in Miyazu, Kyoto. It was named in the hope that visitors will receive the wisdom and health of the Monju Bodhisattva of Chionji Temple, one of Japan's three great Monju temples. A two-story wooden building in townhouse style, it has 2 baths, 1 open-air bath, 1 hand-and-foot bath, a rest hall, and more, and the baths Hashidate and Chie no Wa switch between men and women daily. The water is a sodium chloride spring.
