About this place
Takaragaike Park is a park in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto, Kyoto Prefecture. The park area is centered on Takaragaike Pond and adjoins the Kyoto International Conference Center and The Prince Kyoto Takaragaike. The site area under the city plan is 128.9 ha, also spreading over the area around Takaragaike Pond and the mountain areas of Matsugasaki Nishiyama, known for the 'Myoho' of the Gozan Okuribi, and Higashiyama. The currently opened area is 62.7 ha.
