About this place
Yokoyama Observation Deck is an observation deck set on Mt. Yokoyama (elevation 203 m) in Ugata, Ago-cho, Shima, Mie Prefecture, in the southern Shima Peninsula. The name Yokoyama is said to come from the fact that the mountain looks long and horizontal when seen from offshore. Yokoyama Observation Deck was renewed in 2018 under the name Yokoyama Tenku Cafe Terrace, and in the same year the Komorebi Terrace and Soyokaze Terrace were also renewed. Today the multiple observation decks on Yokoyama are together called Yokoyama Observation Deck.
