Overview
A roadside station at the entrance to Seki-juku in Kameyama, tiled and timber-built to suit the streetscape.
About this place
A roadside station at the gateway to Seki-juku, a post town on the Tokaido. Its wooden, tile-roofed exterior matches the townscape, and the shop sells fresh local vegetables, specialty products, and famous sweets. The restaurant serves miso-yaki udon and Kameyama ramen, and every Sunday a fresh vegetable market called "Mamezoroi" is held. There is also a tatami-floored rest corner and a pebble-paved health walking path.
