About this place
The Shinetsu Trail is a long-distance trail (walking path) in the Sekida Mountains, which run along the border between Nagano and Niigata Prefectures in Iiyama, Nagano Prefecture. It is managed mainly by the Shinetsu Trail Club, a specified nonprofit organization (NPO) certified by Nagano Prefecture (founded January 16, 2004 (Heisei 16)), which carries out trail maintenance and upkeep, forest management, environmental education, and other operations.
