A hot spring inn in Tateshina, Chino, Nagano Prefecture, founded in Taisho 15. A lone inn in a valley whose guest rooms were all renovated in 2019, it has five open-air baths along the mountain stream. The private-room restaurant serves mountain foods of Tateshina, and there is also a lounge lined with 30,000 books.
