Overview
From Hasuike in the Shiga uplands, a gondola and lifts carry you up to walk the alpine plant zone at 2,000 metres.
About this place
A loop course with a shuttle bus linking Shiga Kogen Yama no Eki (Hasuike), the Higashidateyama Gondola Lift and the Takamagahara Summer Lift, in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture. You can look out from 2,000 m and see alpine plants near the summit of Mt. Higashidate. From the observation deck you can see the direction of Nagano City, the Northern Alps, the Hokushin Gogaku and more.
