About this place
A shrine in Yomogihira-machi, Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture. Enshrined in a mountain valley near Yomogihira Onsen, it is known for blessings of financial fortune and business prosperity. The deity Takaokami-no-Okami is a dragon god governing water, and the white snake is the deity's messenger. Shuin (temple seals) are available from 8:30 to 16:00 on Sundays and holidays, at 500 yen. New Year's Day worshippers generally number around 6,000.
