Overview
A public bathhouse in front of Beppu Station, in a Western-style building of 1924.
About this place
A hot spring facility facing Beppu Ekimae Street in Beppu. Its Taisho-era Western-style exterior is striking, with a rest room in the second-floor hall, and inexpensive overnight stays are possible with a reservation. There are two baths: the hot Atsuyu, with free-flowing colorless, clear water, and the lukewarm Nuruyu, the first hinoki bath in a municipal or town hot spring facility.
