About this place

A residence of a high-ranking samurai of the Kitsuki Domain on the Kitadai samurai residence street in Kitsuki. Passing through the double-door nagaya gate, you are greeted by a thatched roof and a cycad about 200 years old, and the residence has a large stroll garden. It is regarded as the representative samurai residence of Kitsuki. Admission is 400 yen for general visitors and 200 yen for elementary and junior high school students.
