About this place
A hot spring in Matsuki-Ryumon, Kokonoe, Oita Prefecture. Ryumon Falls, a two-tier waterfall in a quasi-national park upstream of the Matsuki River at the foot of Mt. Takarayama, is known as a waterfall-sliding spot in summer. The hot spring is said to have begun in the first half of Showa 50 (1975), and it is a relatively new hot spring area in the Kokonoe Yume Onsen Village, with colorless, clear alkaline simple spring water. There are lodgings and campsites around it.
