About this place
A nature park at about 865 m on the mid-slope of Mt. Hinakura (also called Mimasaka Fuji) in Mimasaka, Okayama. A swing bell, the Bell of Liban Vert, 2 m in diameter and weighing 6 tons, hangs in a large arched bell tower and is regarded as a bell of love. Behind the bell tower is Hinakurayama Kayaba, a thatching-grass colony of about 10 ha. Admission is free.

* No caretaker is on site, but you are free to stroll in the park. * Bellpeel Hall (the building next to the parking lot) and the bell tower (the building with the swing bell) are locked and cannot be entered. * The outdoor restrooms behind Bellpeel Hall can be used (closed in winter). * The following acts are prohibited in the park: - Acts that inconvenience other users - Acts that may disturb public order or harm public morals - Acts that may damage facilities or equipment - Selling goods, advertising, performances or similar acts without permission * Beware of unauthorized business or guide activity in the park and requests for money from visitors.
