A keep rebuilt in 1931 on the site of the castle Toyotomi Hideyoshi built, with the city seen from its top floor.
About this place
The central building of Osaka Castle, whose construction was begun by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The present main keep was built in 1931 with donations from citizens. It stands 55 m above ground, with 5 layers and 8 floors, and golden decorations such as the roof's shachihoko and the tigers beneath the railings shine. From the observation deck on the 8th floor you can see all of Osaka. Admission for individuals is 1,200 yen for adults, 600 yen for university and high school students, and free for junior high school students and under.
