A market held every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00 at Sakai Dejima Fishing Port in Sakai Ward, Sakai. Continuing since 1995 as a place for contact with citizens, it sells seafood such as Izumi octopus, conger eel, kelp grouper, sea bass, and cutlassfish. You can rent a shichirin grill for a seafood barbecue, and also enjoy octopus rice, crab soup, and seafood bowls.
