About this place
Kokkaen Co., Ltd. (English: Kokka-en Co.,ltd.) is a company headquartered in Izumi, Osaka Prefecture that handles horticultural seeds and seedlings and related materials. Founded in 1927. It began in 1927 (Showa 2) when the founder Shigeichi Kishiwaki started a business centered on breeding and selling chrysanthemums, the 'flower of the nation.' Since its founding it has been strong in chrysanthemums, and has created many new varieties by breeding as well as selling.
