A reservoir completed in 1934. Formally the Yamaguchi Reservoir, it was built to supply Tokyo with water.
About this place
An artificial lake straddling the border of Tokorozawa and Iruma, completed in 1934 (Showa 9) as a reservoir for Tokyo. Its formal name is "Yamaguchi Reservoir." The surroundings form Sayama Prefectural Natural Park.
