Overview
The Tsuki River turns through 180 degrees, leaving a peninsula of land. The name comes from a likeness to Arashiyama in Kyoto.
About this place
A gorge in Ranzan, Saitama. With rock terraces, the clear Tsuki River and the surrounding trees, it is one of Saitama's representative scenic spots. At Hosohara, extending from Mount Ohira, the stream turns a full 180 degrees. Vehicles cannot enter the gorge, and the car park of the Ranzan Gorge Barbecue Ground is used.
