Overview
Among the largest terraced paddies in Saitama. Of some 5.2 hectares, about four — roughly 250 plots — have been brought back into use.
About this place
One of the largest terraced rice fields in the prefecture, in Yokoze. About 4 ha of paddies (about 250 plots) have been revived. In summer, the "Bonfire Festival" lights about 600 bonfires, and in autumn about 2 million red spider lilies bloom, with the "Higanbana Festival" at the end of September.
