About this place
Mitsumine Shrine is a shrine in Mitsumine, Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. Its former shrine rank was prefectural shrine, and it is now a Beppyo shrine of the Association of Shinto Shrines. Together with Chichibu Shrine and Hodosan Shrine, it is one of the three Chichibu shrines. In front of the worship hall stands a rare triple torii gate. It takes the wolf as its guardian deity, and wolf statues sit in various places in the shrine in place of komainu guardian dogs. Izanagi no Mikoto Izanami no Mikoto The Three Creator Deities - a collective name for Ame no Minakanushi no Kami, Takamimusubi no Kami and Kamimusubi no Kami
