About this place
Marugami Falls (also Marugami no Gama) is a waterfall in Ogano, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture. It is the only waterfall in the prefecture selected as one of Japan's 100 Waterfalls. Drop: 76 m in 3 tiers (1st tier 12 m, 2nd tier 14 m, 3rd tier 50 m) Besides that, few people, even in Saitama Prefecture, know this waterfall, and because there are few tourists, much nature has been left intact. Another feature is that rather than a large volume of water falling all at once, a small amount of water flows quietly down a slope, making it a very beautiful waterfall.
