About this place
Kazo Mirai-kan is an astronomical observation and planetarium facility in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture. It opened in 2001 (Heisei 13) on a super levee of the Tone River. The Kazo Cycling Center is adjacent. The main building is three stories high, and the planetarium facility, with an atrium from the first floor, is located at the semicircular end of the main building. The first floor is an exchange hall with a farm produce processing room, an earth resources exhibition room and a restaurant. The second floor has a terrace, a cooking practice and hands-on learning room (woodworking), and a science laboratory.
