About this place
Biwako Bunka Park is a Shiga Prefecture-run urban park (comprehensive park) spreading across the Konan hills (Seta hills) in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture. It is the park facility corresponding to the 'cultural cluster of arts and education' of the 'Biwako Bunka Park City Concept' drawn up by Shiga Prefecture in 1982 (Showa 57), and development continues today. Prefectural arts and culture facilities are concentrated within the park. The park also has the nickname Bunka Zone (Cultural Zone).
