Overview
A boat tour of the waterways of Omihachiman, moving through beds of reeds.
About this place
An operator of water-village tours of the Omihachiman waterways by yakatabune houseboat and hand-rowed boat. The boat winds through reed beds tangled like a net, and the scenery of the water village opens up from the boarding place. The Omihachiman water village is one of Japan's three great water villages, and in January 2006 it was selected as the first Important Cultural Landscape in Japan.
